The Digital Halal Certification Portal
One platform to apply, analyze, and approve Malaysia Halal certification — guiding business owners and equipping JAKIM / JAIN officers, end to end.
Certification is trusted — but the journey is hard to navigate
- ✕Applicants are unsure which scheme and category apply, what documents are needed, and what the fee will be.
- ✕No visibility — once submitted, business owners can't see where their application stands.
- ✕Officers juggle document review, audit scheduling, non-conformances, sampling, and panel decisions across fragmented tools.
- ✕Incomplete submissions and avoidable rejections slow everyone down across 7 schemes and many states.
A purpose-built portal removes this friction — while keeping the process, authority, and standards exactly as JAKIM defines them.
Two portals over one certification workflow
👤 Applicant portal
Guided application by scheme — shows only the eligibility rules, document checklist, and per-category fee that apply.
Eligibility pre-checks (§4) catch ineligible cases early. Live status tracking, self-service uploads, fee payment, corrective actions, certificate download, and renewal reminders.
🛡️ Officer & Panel portal
One review workspace — document review (§9.2), charges letter & payment (§8), audit scheduling and on-site recording (§9), photo evidence.
NCR & sampling handling, and a panel decision screen recording one outcome — Approved · Conditional · KIV · Failed · Re-audit · Cancelled (§13.3).
📋 Full audit trail
Every status change recorded with actor, time, and note.
🔐 Role-based access
Applicants see only their records; officers & panel scoped appropriately.
🔔 Notifications
Applicants alerted at every stage of the lifecycle.
